Quality from the outset
So you can enjoy the beauty of your artworks for generations.
The Art of Wild follows a simple concept: customers shall always receive the highest quality. From the beginning to the end. This starts with the artists and ends when receiving the Certificate of Authenticity for your piece of art. In between there lies a lot of work – but we take care of the rest.
The photographers represented by our brand are the best in the world within their realm of fine art photography. Many of them have received the highest honours for their artworks. They show their work in exhibitions and books. Every single photographer has his or her special, artistic approach to landscape and nature photography, which makes every picutre unique. What they have in common, however, are the highest demand for their art and their continuous work to preserving the beauty of nature.
Whichever image you select to purchase, you can be assured that you are acquiring a piece of art of the highest quality –with long-lasting museum and gallery quality.
Not only is every picture you acquire here beautiful, it is also a unique piece of art. Each artwork features a unique number, within a strictly limited edition. Our customers rely on quality, as opposed to quantity.
With us you’re in good hands
Our fine art prints are manufactured according to the most stringent certification rules. The Epson Digigraphie- and the Hahnemühle certificate stand for using the best materials and the most sophisticated processes.
Fine art prints in the highest quality
Our fine art reproductions clearly differ from printing on normal photo paper. These are offered under the same name, which is misleading. Nevertheless, for us a fine art print is defined quite clearly: it means the highest print quality, the best papers and inks produced on professional printers with the most advanced colour management systems. Unfortunately, more and more print suppliers from the low-price segment also use these terms, however, do not deliver the best achievable quality.
To meet these high demands, we only use the medium to heavy, acid-free art paper of the leading manufacturers such as Epson and Hahnemühle for the production of prints. Alternatively, we also offer the outstanding ,Rag Photographique 310g' from Canson. This wonderful and frequently used fineart paper is made of 100% rag and delivers true museum quality. The exceptionally bright white color is achieved by adding natural minerals. There are no optical brighteners used.
High aging stability, color fidelity and durability of each print are guaranteed.
Excellent prints are produced with the so-called pigment printing process. Like many of the best artists in the world, we rely on the latest Epson printing machines in conjunction with Epson UltraChrome HDR® pigment colors.
This ink technology was specifically developed for professional requirements and allows printing in absolute top quality with an excellent gray balance, faithfully taken hues and gentle tonal gradation.
Measured by decades, the light resistance of a fine art print depends not only on the colours used. To a large extent, it depends also on the following factors:
- Printing material (paper)
- Storage conditions
- UV and infrared components of the light
- Air quality (ozone, etc.)
The papers we use for fine art prints deliver a light resistance of more than 70 years for colour prints and over 100 years in black and white (under normal display conditions). If prints stored in the dark, for example to archive them, the shelf life is multiplied. (Further information on the durability of fine art prints is available, for example, from the recognized Wilhelm Imaging Research Institute.)
Available in XXL with museum quality
Large format prints, so called ‘living pictures’, are a new and very popular format to stage and enjoy fine art photography. Hence, many of the pieces we offer are available in large sizes, even as XXL formats, (210 cm x 140 cm). And of course in museum quality.
Lamination means the application or mounting of a print on rigid support plates; with the back or the front side of the print. To laminate the precious pigment prints on fine art papers in a durable way, we only use chemically neutral plate materials like Dibond® aluminum composite panels. The result is a stable, long-lasting artwork.
Safely packed, safely delivered
Your artworks we pack individually for transportation or storage. We not only manufacture disposable packaging, but also robust transport boxes; for example, for the transport of multiple pictures. All packages / boxes for your pictures are customized and padded, so nothing can slip and get damaged.
The Certificate of Authenticity
Buying art is also an investment with a high potential of return. Hence, for every picture you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). We use the recognized Hahnemühle system, in which a non-removable hologram is placed on the back of the picture and comes with a unique number worldwide. The partner hologram with the same number you will find on the COA, so that identity is ensured between the artwork and the certificate.
In addition, each artwork is reported to the Hahnemühle online system, an archive for certified art.
Maximum security and transparency are crucial in the art market, because art is also an investment.
